National Account Manager

For over 30 years our client has been importing and trading Frozen, Raw and Cooked meat products from around the world turning over more than £120m per year, servicing clients in the Retail, Manufacturing and the Foodservice sector.
Due to year on year growth, they are actively looking to strengthen their commercial team by hiring additional Traders, National Account and Business Development Managers. You will be tasked to grow the Foodservice sector of the business further from it's already strong and established position.
Negotiating and sourcing product from established suppliers around the world, you will be sales driven and enjoy turning a profit on the deals you make ensuring the highest quality technical standards and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
With already strong relationships with customers and suppliers, your ability to deliver consistency of quality, an ability to react quickly and offer competitively priced products whilst maintaining a healthy profit margin will see you progress in this continuously growing independently owned business.
- Poultry or Red Meat sales experience
- Foodservice sector exposure
- Ability to open doors and drive new business
- Negotiation skills
- Can do and positive attitude
- A hunger to progress
- Previous P&L responsibility
- Current business portfolio highly desirable
