Do you want to work for one of the most iconic and exciting British Motorcycling brands, driving engineering excellence across their range of products? We are looking for an experienced and innovative Materials & Metrology Engineer to help grow the product range and support the delivery of strategic projects across all design and engineering in the UK following a significant recent investment in the business.

The Materials & Metrology Engineer will ensure adherence to Quality Standards of supplier parts at par standards set by doing inspection of Products and to ensure the overall customer satisfaction.

As Materials & Metrology Engineer you will need to be able to demonstrate experience:

  • Hands on experience on Metallurgical Sample Preparation.
  • Metallurgical Testing of New Development samples
  • Experience on Metallurgical Etchant Preparation.
  • Hands on experience on Equipment’s like Cutting Machine, polishing machine, Rockwell Hardness tester, vicker’s hardness tester, Spectromaxx etc
  • Maintaining Good 5S in Laboratory.
  • Ensuring daily calibration of Lab Equipment’s calibration
  • Inspection records keeping.
  • Deep domain knowledge of Two Wheels parts & their inspection system.
  • Timely disposal of Metallurgical Scrap & coolants.
  • Possess knowledge of Machined/sheet metal/fabrication parts, covers/block/shafts/gears/cam shaft, spot welding, Co2 welding, MIG welding, sheet metal part, welded assembly and fuel tank assembly.
  • CMM Programming and 3D inspection of Machined parts, assembly and sheet metal parts.
