We are working with AB Agri, part of the wider ABF Food group, as a retained partner to find an exceptional and inspiring Manufacturing Performance Manager. This new role, reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, forms part of the senior management team and will be instrumental in driving positive manufacturing change through 11 UK operations to increase productivity and effectiveness.

You must already have experience of delivering improvements to complex operations, working with stakeholders at all levels to influence and lead on manufacturing improvements to deliver increase in production output. Your vision and ideas will ensure the business has a robust and dynamic manufacturing platform as AB Agri continue to lead in the way in manufacturing feed.

As Manufacturing Performance Manager, your main accountability is the safe manufacture of feed across all compound production sites, ensuring all defined safety, quality, financial and service targets are met, on time in full and are performance driven within a framework of continuous improvement, supportive challenge and a boldness to exceed.

In looking for a transformational and dynamic Manufacturing Performance Manager, it is essential you have the following experiences:    

  • Extensive operational leadership experience (including FMCG) for 150+ employees
  • The ability to influence others without needing to be there in person to achieve this
  • Knowledge and experience of large-scale process operations across several industries
  • Previous experience managing a significant budget (>£15m)
  • Experience of improvement processes
  • Experience of successfully leading organisational change

You will be a creative problem solver with resilience to manage ambiguity and doubt.
