A pioneer in offshore product development engineering, our client is one of the largest engineering service providers that cater to diversified verticals.

Job Summary:

To support implementation of the method of manufacture, support the Shop floor and participate in the day to day production activities, manage any changes through the Change Control Management Process.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Create manufacturing, inspection planning documents such as Technical Instructions, SOP's as required from the Master Process plans
· Carry out BoM, Cycle time, Manufacturing instruction and process planning drawing updates on Routers in SAP in line with Change control management
· Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities
· Support in carrying out FAI and Industrialization for a given product and process
· Support in Time & Motion Study of manufacturing / assembly process
· Monitor component manufacturing process and support resolve any issues arising during production
· Participate in cross-functional settings and work with support functions viz. design, production quality etc…
· Document & Report the Production and other Shop floor metrics on Rejects, Reworks, Right First time and Process Capability indices to required stake holders

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
· Good knowledge on various manufacturing processes. Machining and/ or assemble experience preferred.
· Well versed with Engineering & manufacturing drawings
· Good knowledge interpreting the GD&T (standards ASME Y 14.5, JES 161)
· Good knowledge in Measurements system analysis (MSA)
· Ability to create and Update manufacturing Routers with BoM, Times and other configuration controls
· Knowledge on Process Capability analysis
· Understanding of Inspection and Quality report
· Knowledge with 3D CAD software's including NX or equivalent
· Awareness of aerospace/auto quality requirements (AS9100, OSHAS, TS 16949, various ISO)

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
· Graduate in a Mechanical Degree or equivalent work experience
· Should have background on Quality Management Systems
· Good Manufacturing Engineering experience

· MS Office tools: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.
· Software: CAD Tools (NX) ERP System (SAP)
· Analysis tools: Minitab14 and Simulation tools(Innovia)
· Product Lifecycle Management
