Role: Maintenance Manager

Location: Warrington

Hours: 830am - 500pm (200pm finish on Friday)

Salary: Fantastic


  • Pension contribution - 10% Employer, 5% Employee

Team Size

  • 4 Team members to manage


  • Plan, organize and conduct activities within its area in an effective manner towards achieving common objectives
  • Takes action to achieve the operational objectives and indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate and Division HSE objectives and requirements
  • Allocate sufficient resources of labour and skills required to support the production planning program
  • Manage a team of Injection Maintenance Technicians. Manage schedules, training and development to support production, improvement activities and projects.
  • Collate, document and allocate Maintenance jobs to maintain the equipment in full working order for production and drive continuous improvement.
  • Set and manage the maintenance budget and examine department’s requirement for capital expenditure
  • Create and develop planned predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programs, maintenance spares and workforce training programs
  • Create and maintain a fully controlled maintenance stores system. Ensure alignment of stock with SAP at all times.
  • Ensure that the quality of work is to the standard required by the company and respective regulation (i.e. electrical, compressed air, etc)
  • Obtain critical spares and specialist contractors when necessary
  • Manage maintenance sub-contractors activities (permits)
  • Provide appropriate support on new programs development in relation with Program development team
  • During the Optipro/Optimap/transfer projects:
    • Actively participate in all the training (in-house, provided by equipment supplier)
    • Participate in fine tuning, acceptance and final setting of the equipment
    • Participate in maintenance area set up and follow up installation of small CAPEX related to this area

Candidate Profile:

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Strong people manager, with the ability to coach, engage and lead a team of 4
  • Proven problem solving skills


  • Worked within a similar role, with management experience
  • PLC & Robotics appreciation preferred - not essential 
  • Injection moulding background experience preferred but not essential
