A automotive manufacturing company are looking to recruiting two Maintenance Engineers working on a continental/Panama shift pattern rotating days & nights. You will be an apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment, confident in both mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs with knowledge of robotics and PLC’s.

As a Maintenance Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

• React to break-downs and quality issues using diagnostic skills to identify and rectify problems quickly and effectively.
• Monitor the running of plant equipment to maximise through-put in line with agreed quality standards.
• Undertake planned maintenance in line with engineering schedule.
• Work as a member of the shift team, maximising efforts to meet priorities and having a longer-term view to continuous improvement.
• Input into manufacturing facilities
• Always follow environmental, health & safety policies and procedures and report any issues.
• Provide engineering and technical services to improve the performance of the plant.
• Knowledge of quality standards.

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer  with the following.

• Apprentice trained within electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and hands on experience of fault finding on robotics systems and PLC’s.
• Confident working with preventative maintenance schedules and prioritising reactive maintenance.
• Computer literate with good excel and access database skills.
• Positive thinking and self-motivated individual with good communication skills
