Salary to £70k + above plus bonuses, pension, car

I am seeking a Lead Engineering Methods Engineer to join a prestigious powertrain manufacturer who design, develop and test powertrain units in their facility in Northampton.

What you will do
As Lead Engineering Methods / Process Improvement;

  • Ownership of documentation relating to key design standards
  • Work closely with the CAD applications Engineer to specify improvements to CAE systems to drive quality & efficiency gains.
  • Auditing key tools and processes across the Product Engineering Team - implementing changes as required
  • Creating and delivering assessed training material relevant to the role

What you will need
As Lead Engineering Methods / Process Improvement;

  • Extensive, demonstrable experience in product design & development with a track record for "right first time", and a true belief in the value of tools, methods and techniques.
  • Experience in manufacturing & assembly processes, including automation, and their importance to inclusive product design.
  • Background in Continuous Improvement activities, including lessons learnt.
  • High level Degree in relevant Engineering

What you will get

As Lead Engineering Methods / Process Improvement;

  • Experience of working for a prestigious powertrain manufacturer
  • An excellent salary and benefits of personal & company bonus, share scheme, pension, prestigious car lease.
  • Career progression
