As a Lead Engineer, you'll manage and coordinate the development, testing and implementation of new systems and components.
You will carry out structured engineering tools and processes, in a cross-functional organisation, in order to deliver the targets and objectives, in terms of costs, delays, quality and attributes.
You will be involved in the development of the features involving complex electromechanical mechanisms.
You will focus on doors systems and be involved in the development of the system
You will manage the way those parts interact with each other and the way they interact with the body and with the electrical architecture, across a range of new and exciting vehicle programmes.
You will work closely with a range of specialist departments and external companies. With excellent communication and relationship building skills, you will be able to lead the coordination of a diverse set of tasks.
- Previous experience in engineering of electromechanical commodities, including design verification/validation, logical and methodical approach to component applications, verification and validation.
- Experience of engineering in Automotive Door System environment
- Knowledge of the processes of injection - stamping - assembly
- Microsoft Project, Office tools Catia V5/V6 TCe / Enovia
Degree level or equivalent
