Jonathan Lee Recruitment requires a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join technology company based in the South Derbyshire Dales District. This is a permanent role developing embedded FW using C and IAR Embedded Workbench tools. This is an onsite position with a salary of £60 - 65k + Benefits.

Key skills and experience

· C programming and embedded 'bare metal' FW development experience

· ARM Cortex-M or similar Microcontrollers

· Wireless IoT protocols Experience

· Ability to lead a team of 3 - 4 software engineers

· Full product lifecycle methodology understanding

· Ability to write full specifications

· Ability and willingness to get hands on in the development process

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills

Nice to have

· STM32 ARM Cortex-M Microcontrollers and platform tools

· Other MCU experience, E.g. Renesas M16C, TI MSP430

· Assembly language programming

· UART/SPI/I 2 C serial comms protocols

· Experience designing FW for low-power applications

· SVN versioning and revision control system

· Electronic hardware design experience

· Familiarity with Doxygen, Jenkins
