KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

A globally recognised world leading organisation is looking for a proactive key account manager to deliver new and existing business within the aerospace, engineering sector.
Reporting to the Sales Director the primary purpose of the Key Account Manager role is to maintain existing and develop new business. You will be expected to manage customer relationships through the entire business cycle from sale through to cash collection and furthermore you will be expected to identify, pursue and convert profitable new business opportunities within your target segment.
The key account manager will be assigned to a segment and be responsible for, a geographical territory, a selected range of customers and a specific market.
As a core member of the sales team you be provided with objectives to achieve sales and gross margin budgets, Implement pricing in line with the segment pricing policy and promote the strengths and capabilities of the business in targeted growth markets
As part of your role the ability to manage key accounts through the development and implementation of strategic account plans you will look to build and maintain key customer relationships to identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities and projects.
This position would appeal to a proactive, effective key account manager from an engineering / technical background able to identify and execute excellent customer projects, needs and client satisfaction. - Educated to Degree or equivalent
- Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or industry relevant experience
- Aerospace industry experience essential
- 5 years minimum sales experience
