IT Systems Engineer - Manufacturing
40 hours per week
A leading engineering solutions provider to the motorsport, automotive and energy sectors are looking for an IT Systems Engineer, experience of IT systems implementation and an understanding of both New Product Introduction (NPI) processes within a manufacturing organisation is required.
What you will do:
Develop the Atlas system to support NPI gateways, problem solving issues on the Atlas systems as they arise, supporting the implementation of the Atlas system throughout the company.
Development, implementation and maintenance of the Prototype Track and Trace Atlas System also forms part of this role, as does training users and documenting changes to Atlas Systems.
What you will need:
The successful candidate will hold a recognized formal qualification in engineering or computer science or have demonstrable significant experience in relevant fields.
Previous experience of working within a Business Analyst or Programming role is desirable, as is SQL server experience.
Experience of IT systems implementation and an understanding of both New Product Introduction (NPI) processes within a manufacturing organization and of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it applies to the role.
Proven, recent experience of developing business-driven solutions in Microsoft Access and a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Access VBA are required for this role, as are the ability to use Microsoft Access to manipulate data and create reports and the proven ability to configure systems that align with business processes.
