Due to significant expansion a manufacturer of complex components to the aerospace sector is currently recruiting a Quality Manager. You must have a good understanding of aerospace standards, driving change, precision engineering and strong leadership skills.

To work with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to help de-risk and accelerate innovation and growth in SMEs by the application of digital manufacturing best practice, new research led technology, techniques and knowhow. The role will provide SMEs with access to a range of technology area and subsequent new opportunities for innovative products, processes and business models.
You will help to deliver on our Digital Innovation for Manufacturing (DI4M) project. The project helps manufacturing supply chain SMEs become more productive and competitive via the application of the latest advances in manufacturing technology and thinking.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical leadership role, with a strong background in software development, and a technical specialism in at least one of the following:
- developing and managing software projects for industrial IoT devices
- industrial network protocols, controls and manufacturing machine communications
- web development, focussed on server-side code with knowledge of network security
We are looking for candidates with experience in managing the software lifecycle to lead the deployment of professional systems into our clients. The candidate must be an analytical problem-solver with the ability to get things done, working both independently and within a team. The ability to build relationships with industrial and academic collaborators to harness capability, and to shape opportunities for business growth, is essential. Ideally, you will have experience of and a passion for working in the manufacturing sector.
