Title: Senior IT Project Manager

Division: Information Technology

Contract Position based at: Gaydon

Rate: - up to £507.20/day Ltd (£385/day PAYE option)

Position Description:

Information Security Compliance Manager

Working closely with the Business Project Manager, will drive the IT workstream. Ensure that all IT project deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility to ensure It deliverables are understood. Develop a detailed IT project plan to monitor and track progress that also aligned to business plans/targets. Manage changes to the IT project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Experience Required:

Comprehensive core Project Management technical skillset (Planning, Risk Management, Change Management, Finance Management, Communication). Excellent Stakeholder Management skills. Ability to manage diverse project teams ( Technical and non technical) across multiple business functions, organisations and geographies. Experience of delivering large (circa £1m +) complex IT projects. Full Lifecycle delivery experience from Requirements gathering to transition to operations. Experience of managing third party delivery engagements.

Experience Preferred:

Excellent stakeholder management, change delivery and communications skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g MS Project). Educational background, in the fields of computer science or engineering desirable. Proven working experience and results in project management in the information technology sector. Experience of information security and compliance project delivery is strongly preferred. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus. Agile Delivery experience preferred (SAFe desirable)
