Industrial Engineering Manager - Electronic Manufacturing - salary £36k to £42k depending on experience - Opportunity for KPI related annual bonus - Bridged, South Wales

The company is a global, high end electronics manufacturing business boasting annual revenue is excess of £80 billion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the sites journey through the manufacture of the latest in 4k recording technology and also the provision of contract manufacturing solutions for other electronics based businesses. As a site Industrial Engineering Manager you will join a team of Engineering Management and take responsibility for a team of Industrial Engineers with a view to offering a right first time effective service to manufacturing operations.

In this role your team will be responsible for innovation, monitoring and maintaining key KPI's and the introduction of new manufacturing processes. The team works across the site in process flow creation, NPI or new model introduction with process and manufacturing aids, production concept design, quality and productivity projects, work study analysis to include TAKT times or MTM time studies, time and motion and assembly methods. In short it will be your teams job to ensure designs and concepts become a production reality ensuring everyone has everything needed for continuous, uninterrupted, fault free manufacturing of high end electronic consumer and commercial products.

Your team will also drive improvements across site to include eliminating where possible production waste and delivering efficiency improvements. To this end experience and working knowledge of LEAN principles, six sigma, kaizen, 5s and similar will be a distinct advantage.

Due to the nature of the product and environment ideal candidates will come from a high end electronic manufacturing background. You will ideally be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and offer previous experience of managing a multi skilled engineering team.
