An Implementation Consultant is currently required for our client based near to Gloucester. Our client is a provider of software and services leading the way in data driven infrastructure asset management and are providing a range of market leading software products backed up with a range of surveying and consultancy services which help their customers deliver a better service across their highways department.

The main purpose of this role will be to work closely with Product Consultants providing installation and data migration services. Primarily working with the our clients application suite, which provides asset management tools for Pavement, Highways, Street Lighting, Street Works, Environmental Services including Street Cleansing, Parks Grounds and Open Spaces along with Domestic and Trade Waste collection. You will be expected to provide data migration consultancy and guidance across the product suite.

As the Implementation Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Installing software and mobile applications
  • Conduct Data Migrations from third party systems
  • Create data mapping documents
  • Liaise with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to determine migration specifications
  • Generate and work to installation and data migration plans
  • Create reports to cross check data migrations
  • Creating migration scripts to standardise the migration process
  • Report writing
  • Escalate any issues during the implementation process as appropriate

We would welcome applications from candidates with installation and data migration experience from an infrastructure asset management background. Experience or qualifications in Networking, Windows Server, Linux Distros or SQL would be required along with strong MS Excel and database management skills. Candidates that have experience of working under a recognised project management framework i.e. Prince2 or Agile and experience of GIS or UKPMS would be viewed advantageously.
