A HR Project Analyst is required to join an automotive OEM based in multiple locations including; Whitley, Solihull, Castle Bromwich sites.

Position Description:  Project Analyst - Manufacturing

Key Performance Indicators

  • Hourly headcount requirements for Manufacturing Engineering for FY 21/21
  • Technical career pathways
  • Training strategy creation
  • Training roll out for Manufacturing Engineering associates and staff

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of HR interventions to support the strategic direction of the business area
  • Provide support to the Functional Management team to achieve short and long term strategic objectives by delivering plans and initiatives as directed
  • Work on the development of people capability in the line management population
  • Work closely with the Centres of Expertise and Shared Service teams and wider HR community to deliver people strategies / initiatives
  • Support and work closely with HR colleagues with the Business area short and long term workforce forecasting demand planning
  • Work with workforce planning and HR colleagues to achieve future business requirements
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

Skills Required:

  1. Good working ability with Microsoft Excel and data manipulation
  2. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to determine requirements and deliver outcomes
  3. Ability to multi-task a high personal workload, balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery

Experience Required:

  • An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable
  • An individual who is results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment
  • An individual with the ability to prioritise their workload
  • A good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas

  • Resilient and enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure
  • Previous experience of involvement in organisation design projects
  • An understanding of analytics and metrics
  • Previous experience in a similar HR role ideally gained within a large, complex organisation

Experience Preferred:

Customer focused - ability to determine service requirements and performance measures, and initiate solutions

Education Required:

Degree qualified or equivalent experience

Education Preferred:

CIPD qualified or working towards
