HR Business Partner (Part Time) - 52455

A HR Business Partner is required with proven ability in managing employee relations caseloads and delivering objectives on a part time basis for our automotive client based in Daventry.
This position will be broad ranging, with a strong employee relations element, but also the requirement for an individual who is accustomed to HR project work, management information analysis and professional HR advisory. This position reports to the HR Manager
As a HR Business Partner, you will be required to:
- To provide a professional and generalist HR service to the Daventry customer group, including but not limited to: company policy guidance; handling grievances, disciplines and dignity at work issues; co-ordinating people moves including lateral transfer and retirements
- To liaise with local Trade Union representatives to ensure that employee relations are effectively contained and managed.
- To act as a business advisor and partner to depot management
- To report on key metrics on a regular basis.
- To support HR projects where required, including change management initiatives.
- To support HR team office administration
The HR Business Partner should have the following skills or experience:
- HR experience
- CIPD or HR related qualification a bonus
- Previous HR experience at a HR administrator level or above
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Candidates must be strong team players and able to deliver under pressure.
- Proven ability of managing employee relations caseloads and delivering to objectives.
- Excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office packages
- High levels of attention to detail
- Prior Employee Relations experience in a unionised environment is an advantage
- Degree is Required
Part time position to work 30 hours per week (must work Fridays).
