My Automotive tier one client is seeking a high calibre Head of Sales who will prove to be a key leader in driving through business with new and existing customers, including some of the most prestigious OEMs. Having full responsibility for sales, this person will lead a dynamic team and ensure strategies are executed diligently.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Driving sales through an enviable customer base
- Delivering on revenue targets and business growth
- Managing new projects whilst setting long-term sales strategies
- You will develop business plans, policies and programs associated with the business unit
- Working closely with Engineering and New Product Development
- Develop and maintain direct customer relationships at high strategic levels to keep informed of market issues and opportunities
- Lead and develop people
- Frequent travel to develop strategic accounts
We are looking for the following:
- An experienced Automotive sales professional with a demonstrable track record of effective man management
- Experience of working within an engineering environment with a good understanding of manufacturing process
- Experience of working with multiple OEMs is a must
- An excellent communicator and relationship builder
- This person should enjoy the challenge of leading and developing a team
- Degree qualified
