Head of Maintenance & Site Services - FMCG ingredients processing - Litchfield, Staffordshire - Up to £55k DOE

The business is part of one of the largest food manufacturing businesses in the UK reporting record growth and profits across all business units. Due to ongoing expansion we are seeking a Head of Maintenance and Site Services to join us in our growth with a very exciting proposition for you.

Initially we are looking for you to manage the installation of a new state of the art facility in Litchfield to include the creation of site maintenance practices appropriate to the equipment and site needs. Once complete you will then move into supporting the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of company production facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a global reputation in a capacity where you will have the autonomy to apply your skills, knowledge and ideas.

You will need a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical and control systems. You will also need to demonstrate the application of modern maintenance practices such as TPM and a background of improving and developing OEE and plant reliability. As you would expect in such a position safety in all activities will be paramount and so a NEBOSH or similar recognised training in managing safety would be a real advantage.

You will be responsible for the company maintenance budget along with a team of multi skilled Engineers and you would be expected to ensure that all people in scope have the tools, skills and knowledge to deliver an effective maintenance service to the business, within budget.

We are very keen to speak with individuals that have a proven background of developing maintenance procedures and then implementing them through a team. Experience of installation, overseeing the process and managing external contractors would also be very appealing. We will consider multiple routes to qualification from degree to apprenticeship, you just need to be proficient in the highlighted areas.

Whats in it for you?

You'll receive a competitive pay package, with excellent benefits including a matched contribution pension scheme and flexible benefits to suit your needs. We also offer discounts in the nation's favourite retailers. If you're looking for a new challenge in a company that is at the forefront of innovation and product development on an international scale, we'd love to hear from you.
