Title: Graduate Engineer

Contract Position based at: Gaydon

Rate:  - up to £25.57/hr Ltd umbrella

Position Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a freshly graduated Engineer to join the Engineering team as a Contract Engineer, to demonstrate their ability to deliver engineering based on their knowledge and experience gained through their degree.

This role is for a new graduate who would like to grow and develop within Automotive Engineering. The successful candidate(s) will be provided with the necessary training and on the job guidance to develop their engineering skills and knowledge in the areas of body or chassis engineering. The aspiration is for capable graduates without any experience of working within the automotive industry to demonstrate their ability to learn and deliver engineering.

On the job training will be provided for specific tools and methods as well as provide training related to the area within the business to be deployed. We fully understand that the recruit will need to grow into their role before they can become fully effective.

Skills Required:

• Background in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical or Electronic Discipline
• Understanding of the consideration of engineering multiple elements to deliver a single system goal.
• Evidence of working as part of a team to solve technical problems

Education:

Engineering Degree, preferably Honours or Masters.
