JOB TITLE: Data Protection Administrator

TYPE: Full time, Temporary (1-2 months)

REPORTING TO: Business Partner - Recruitment Operations



PURPOSE:
Temporary role to support the responses to the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 to the Jonathan Lee business, providing administrative support to process all candidate and client queries and requests, updating key database information and ensuring compliance to agreed procedures.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage the Data Protection Inbox, processing all requests in a timely and compliant manner.
* Updating CRM and other system records including, but not limited to:
o Requests for Right to Be Forgotten
o Subject Access Requests
o Recording candidate consents
o Investigating queries
* Accurately recording all related GDPR activity
* Liaising with senior management team to ensure queries are answered within required deadlines
* Weekly review and reporting on progress vs deadlines
* Communicating with external stakeholders such as clients, candidates and other 3rd parties
* Considering the GDPR impact to the company's entire electronic media footprint
* Escalating potential legal matters to the Business Partner - Recruitment Operations


SKILLS; EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS:
* A good understanding of GDPR and wider Data Protection considerations
* Risk-based thinker - considers the implications of actions
* Acts in a considered and responsible manner, without undue haste
* Efficient and organised using appropriate, traceable methods
* Good people skills including the ability to handle negative situations
* Effective and appropriate communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong IT and systems literacy, experience of working with a variety of CRM or database systems. Full MS Outlook, MS Excel and Office suite competency
* Excellent attention to detail
* Thorough and able to understand and follow complex processes
* Ability to prioritise work load and work to strict deadlines
* Proactive, able to work accurately at pace
