This is a well-established manufacturing business that supplies Automotive OEM's with high value components. There are going through an excellent period of growth and development, backed up by strong capital investment.

The business has asked Jonathan Lee Recruitment to assist in the search for a Foundry Manager to Lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. You will have Full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met. It is the responsibility of the Foundry Manager to develop an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
You will Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
The business needs a strong candidate who can work with Senior Stakeholders in the business to drive strategic change, but also work closely with the Shop Floor on implementing and improving the production operation.
As Foundry Manager it is expected you will have the following key attributes:

We are keen to talk to candidates who have been in a Foundry or Forging environment and hold a relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, or HND, BTEC Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualifications.
You will have excellent management experience and understand Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen and lean manufacturing.
