Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to assist in the building of applications for a range of platforms including PCs, custom embedded products and mobile devices. The successful candidate will be joining a growing R&D team based in Southampton and be involved in the full firmware development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Firmware Engineer- What you get to do

• Design, develop and support solutions for our bespoke products.
• Create firmware and hardware level software and support tools.
• Ensure firmware can be built on our continuous build system.
• Prepare and implement suitable test strategies.

Skills and qualifications helpful for the role of Firmware Engineer

• Proven C development experience for ARM based micro-controllers (Atmel SAM preferred).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Firmware/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• A familiarity with Bash scripting for Linux is desirable.
