Ranges dependent on experience and seniority:
£25k to £50k Degree to Part Qualified with 2 years+ experience
£50k to £75k Part Qualified to Qualifed with 5 years+ experience
£75k to £100k Qualified with senior level experience
My client is responsible for the wealth management, investments, property and business affairs of a wealthy family office whose interests exceed £2bn.
With significant UK and overseas investments, the office is involved in a diverse range of financial management and control activities including:
Property management and development
Consolidated accounts preparation for a group of 20+ companies
Superyacht Charter Management
As a result of the significant day to day challenges and diverse nature of the family's interests, the office has three vacancies for talented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated individuals to work on exciting and unique business interests which could be career-defining.
While the following tasks will form a core part of the role, this is no run-of-the-mill financial position:
- Preparing monthly P&L, and balance sheet reports
- Tax reporting
- Collecting and analysing key financial data and other business metrics
- Advising on estimates for funding
- Creating KPI reports
- Preparing cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
- Assisting with or managing the preparation of year-end and statutory accounts
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
- Conducting internal audits
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy
- Managing and training staff
You will be a self-starter, have a sharp numerical eye and will have achieved high levels of responsibility early in your career, having demonstrated a hunger for progression-maximising opportunities, being the driving force behind business initiatives and demonstrable robustness in the face of adversity and of course, have exceptional levels of integrity.
More than these attributes however, you will possess qualities that separate you from the crowd. You will be passionate about business and wealth generation, possess the drive and ambition to want to maximise your career opportunities and become a high-earner yourself. Resilience in a pressured environment is essential. You will demonstrate commercial intellect which will originate in part from natural ability and backed up through the influence of education and experience. Leadership will be very important to this role and you should seek a career where your natural leadership abilities are developed and tested frequently.
Your academic achievements should include:
- A good selection of strong GCSEs including minimum Grade A Mathematics
A and B grades at 'A' Level
A minimum 2.1 grade degree in a finance, business, commercial or economics discipline.
Chartership with a highly recognised industry body (eg. ACCA or CIMA). Part Qualified will be considered
