Finance Inventory Analyst – 37952

Pay Rate: up to £25.78/hr Ltd – inside IR35 (PAYE option available)

Contract Position based at: Whitley

Position Description:

Finance Inventory Analyst required to ensure inventory is properly controlled and product cost is correctly recorded

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide manufacturing inventory close process activities, maintain Balance Sheet integrity and provide accurate transactional costing and accounting
• Deliver standardised, streamlined financial reporting to stakeholder teams
• Contribute to high quality analysis supporting management to achieve financial, operational, and strategic objectives
• Produce elements of the Record to Report (R2R) KPI and SLA measurement suite
• Adhere to the policies, controls and governance
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Resolve customer concerns, escalating as necessary
• Undertake appropriate training and development

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) processes within a complex manufacturing environment with transfer pricing and intercompany transactions using SAP / legacy systems
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Experience of working in a SOX controlled environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multitask, work accurately at speed and under pressure
• Continuous improvement 'mind set' with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues using innovation
• Attention to detail at all levels
• Ability to research and troubleshoot user issues
• Self-driven learner with an appetite for continuous professional and personal development
• Ability and willingness to travel within the UK

Education

• Qualified or working towards a CCAB recognised professional qualification
