An experienced Finance Analyst is required to join an Automotive OEM based in Solihull.
This is a varied role in a dynamic, fast moving and exciting environment within the recently created Shared Services Centre function.
The role involves closing each accounting period, creating, analysing and posting several key journals.
In addition, there will be multi-faceted reporting, variance analysis and Balance Sheet Reconciliations required for a variety of Operational functions. This is a blend of both Financial and Management accounting.
There will be elements of managing internal customer relationships. This can be a month end (days 1-5) intensive role.
Preparation and submission of a variety of complex month end journals.
Month end reporting including variance analysis, Balance Sheet reconciliation and Performance Scorecard reporting.
Assisting in the preparation and loading of Forecast, Budget and Business Plan data.
- Experience with SAP is essential
- Budgeting / Forecasting / Business planning experience would be beneficial.
- Hyperion & Insight / SmartView experience is advantageous as is working within a fast paced / dynamic Shared Service Centre environment.
Qualified Accountant preferred, but qualification by experience is accepted
