An experienced EDS Project Leader is required to join a leading automotive organisation based in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is a contract position, and an excellent opportunity to have exposure in a fantastic organisation overseas.
Electrical Distribution System (EDS) are responsible for developing the electrical distribution system, the wiring harness and the wiring harness components, in all vehicle lines. Today there are several different roles at EDS, project leader (SPL's) who are responsible for the introduction of a new car line or a change window (ÄT), Lead engineers who are responsible for the development of the EDS components such as wiring harnesses, connectors, fuse boxes, brackets, cable channels and grommets etc., CAD engineers who works with in house component design from concept to production phase, and test and CAE engineers.
We have two main suppliers who develop the harnesses and most components, a lot of our daily work is done together with them. To help implement an agile way of working EDS are looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate the start-up of the agile teams. The process and the teams will be established together with the EDS managers and you will be responsible for developing the teams to acknowledge the agile working methods and procedures.
Areas of responsibilities:
* Establish processes, for example a way to work with a Kanban board, that will work for the EDS teams. The processes might differ in time as more and more teams starts working in an agile way.
* Start up the work in the teams, the number of teams that are started up in parallel is for the scrum master to decide. When the team has an established process and are familiar with the way of work the scrum master role is to be handed over to a member of the team and you will continue to the next team.
* Make sure that a new scrum master is trained and well prepared before taking over the team.
* Prepare newly hired product owners for their role and help in their training to understand the processes of their teams
