EDS/Circuit Engineer - Electric Vehicle - Swindon area - Perm/Contract - £Competitive DOE

This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for automotive engineers. We are seeking visionary design and development engineers who possess the drive and desire to do things, differently.

An exciting opportunity for an EDS Engineer join a highly innovative British company, renowned worldwide for their technology, design and innovation and who are leaders and experts in their field.

You will be working on a highly innovative EV project which is at an early concept stage and will have the opportunity to influence and see the programme through to production.

What you will do
As an EDS/Circuit Engineer you will;

  • Responsible for the design and drafting of circuit schematics for the project
  • Responsible for managing the interface control documents on the project
  • Responsible for design and selection of key electrical characteristics of the wiring harness.
  • Responsible for the power and ground distribution specifications and architecture for the project
  • Responsible for implementing the network architecture on the circuit schematic
  • Responsible for releasing circuits through various build phases on the project

What you will need
As an EDS/Circuit Engineer

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in vehicle circuit development
  • Experience of ECAD tools. Mentor Capital / Vesys is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle circuit requirements
  • Knowledge of vehicle regulatory requirements
  • Capability to lead multifunctional teams of engineers
