A Demand and Orders Manager with experience of managing and stabilizing supply and demand is required on a permanent basis, for a salary of up to £73,000 DOE and will be based in Stafford for a manufacturing client.

The responsibilities of this role include;

  • Leads processes including weekly master production planning reviews, to determine the production schedules for the UK and India facilities in order to satisfy global demand as well as setting the MRP schedules out to the global supply base
  • Balancing manufacturing constraint issues and inventory levels
  • Accountable for the customer experience including delivering product to the original order promise shipment date, delivery performance, order acknowledgement and competitive lead times
  • Working with product managers to ensure supply chain strategies are developed and aligned with worldwide sourcing strategies
  • Liaison with external customers on business performance and forecast requirements
  • Responsible for coaching, developing and mentoring department resources
  • Accountable for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of direct reports, including development, capability building and succession planning


Skills and experience you will have;

  • Extensive experience of leading and managing demand and orders processes
  • A supply-chain related professional accreditation or qualification is highly desired
  • Manufacturing sector experience is an ideal
  • A proven ability to build positive and collaborative working relationships with key functions and senior leadership within a large organization
  • Strong leadership experience
