Title: Data & GDPR Analyst

Division: Human Resources

Contract Position based at: Whitley

Rate: - up to £23.14/hr Ltd (which equals c£18/hr PAYE rate) - INSIDE IR35

Position Description:

This role is the Data & GDPR Analyst within the HR Data, Analytics & Technology team. The role will focus on supporting process owners and change management teams in assessing proposed changes to business processes in line with corporate and legislative standards associated with data governance and data protection, to ensure that any potential risks are identified and mitigated, and that these standards are embedded in new ways of working.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Act as the representative from the HR Data & Technology team to identify any requirements for data sharing or process change impacting HR data
  • Capture data design and sharing requirements Risk assess the requirements for data sharing in line with GDPR standards
  • Work with the HR Data team on designing the solution for delivering the data sharing requirements
  • Identify and manage the impacts on processes and data inventories as a result of the requirements
  • Act on behalf of the HR Data Leads to ensure that the transformation programme follows data governance and GDPR Standards
  • Progress, monitor, track and report on the status of Privacy by Design & Default assessments to ensure that change activities are delivered in a compliant way, and to agreed timescales
  • Collaborate with HR process owners and the change programme to drive positive change HR Data Management & Governance
  • Support the resolution of any identified GDPR and data governance issues, working with the HR Data champions and the central Data Protection and security teams

  3. Exceptional analytical skills supported by advanced communication and presentation skills - used to translate Business requirements into data solutions

Experience of working within a project

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience in GDPR/Data Protection management
  • Experience of working within a programme environment
  • Experience of HR and Finance processes
