Our Client, a world-class, independent engineering consultancy operating in multiple locations
around the world who supports vehicle manufacturers and their supply chain with cutting-edge
engineering and testing expertise, are looking for an Ethical Hacker/ Pen Tester to join the Vehicle Resilience department, Automotive Cybersecurity services.

Key Functions of the Ethical Hacker/ Pen Tester will include:

  • Threat and risk analysis
  • Verification planning and management
  • Development/delivery of automotive Cybersecurity penetration testing and privacy assessments
  • Automotive Cybersecurity test design and development (both customer and development programmes)
  • To undertake tests and to assist in performing tests using various test equipment including data acquisition systems and robotic driver systems
  • Assist in the generation of test procedures, risk assessments and vulnerability resolution
  • Help deliver improvements to equipment, procedures and methods of working
  • Lead/assist in the advanced penetration test delivery to customers
  • Analyse data collected during testing and write test reports
  • Support technical discussions with customers and supporting proposal development
  • Support the development of internal test skills through internal training and technology
    transfer

As an Ethical Hacker you will be/have:

  • A hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer/pen tester within Automotive or a high technology industry
  • Experience in the use of wireless and wired penetration test/assessment equipment
  • Performing tests using various test equipment including data acquisition
    systems and robotic driver systems
  • Strong data acquisition, data analysis and post processing skills
  • Proven ability to think like an attacker and strong understanding of new technologies, architectures associated with Cybersecurity vulnerabilities
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
