Customer Service Manager Job Purpose:

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join an established team based in Reading. They design and manufacture bespoke solutions within motion control to meet our customer needs which are incredibly diverse in their application.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

In this role you will lead manage and supervise a team of 5 Customer Service personnel in order to achieve the best possible orders and sales outcomes consistent with our strategy.

You will also work with the external Sales Function and our Customers to prepare and submit winning proposals/ RFQs. You will be the ‘Voice of the Customer’ in the business as you will be responsible for addressing any commercial issues on their behalf.

Ideally you will be familiar and manage (SOP) Drive efficiency gains through SOP to maximise sales outcomes

Manage the customer service process to meet with KPIs

Close management and information flow to the leadership team to ensure customer focus and representation

Key Skills

  • A degree qualification or equivalent qualification is desirable preferably in business administration or marketing Degree
  • Proven experience in a sales administration role and in the management of a customer service environment
  • An appreciation of technical subjects will be beneficial.
