Customer Services Account Executive - Permanent - Attractive - West London

A large aerospace engineering organisation are looking for a Customer Services Account Executive who will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and administrative support to external and internal customers within their repair business.

The Customer Services Account Executive will provide support primarily via inbound and outbound telephone calls, often complex in nature. The Customer Services Account Executive will manage and develop assigned customer accounts. Be the internal focal point and provide interaction between the customer accounts and the company. Provide high quality customer service.

The Customer Services Account Executive Negotiate customer pricing and commercial terms. Review customer sales margins and propose re-pricing where necessary. Provide customers with regular accurate up to date status reports. Provide customers with quotations for repairs, loans/exchanges and the sale of other goods or services offered within the business.

The Customer Services Account Executive Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and develop assigned customer accounts in conjunction with Sales Managers
  • Be the main internal focal point for the company's customer accounts
  • Provide high quality customer service to all customers
  • Negotiate customer pricing and commercial terms in line with company guidelines
  • Regularly analyse and review sales margins and provide proposed re-pricing solutions
  • Provide customers with pricing and quotations for repairs/loans/exchanges as necessary
  • Working closely with Product Team Leaders, ensure the pricing is competitive
  • Provide information to customers with regards price enquiries
  • Respond to email and web generated enquiries
  • Liaise with the production areas to achieve targets
  • Work as part of a team, act in a professional manner, and convey a positive approach
  • Visit customers for face to face negotiation and business discussions as required with Sales Managers or Customer Services Team Leader

Other requirements for the Customer Services Account Executive include:

  • Experience in a similar account management, customer service or technical environment
  • Educated to degree level standard or equivalent level of experience
  • Professional, business appearance and Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • I.T literate - Microsoft word, excel, databases (Quantum database, desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to deal with a high volume of pricing and quoting requirements
  • Import/export procedures (desirable)
  • Experience of working in the aviation industry (desirable)
  • Good written and oral communication skills at all levels and Good time management
  • Good numeracy skills and Self motivated
  • Team player and a Flexible approach and Process and results driven
  • Able to handle pressure well with a Methodical/Logical approach

Security Clearance may be required for this role due to the nature of the Industry
