Due to growth plans and a healthy project order book an expanding technology company based in Sheffield are looking to recruit an additional Control Systems Engineer.
The company works predominantly in the Oil & Gas, Metals, Food & Bev, Materials Handling and General Process Industries, carrying out IT, Automation & Control System and Safety System design and implementation.
They are an expanding company with a policy of promoting from within, the next step up for a candidate successful in this position would be as a Senior Engineer (i.e. increasing financial responsibility and management of more junior staff).
Commutable from: Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Mansfield.
Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. + benefits

As a Control Systems Engineer, your responsibilities include: Design, implement and commissioning of control systems specification writing Panel design, PLC and DCS programming, SCADA configuration, supervision of subcontractors, client meetings / technical liaison, commissioning of systems and site support.
The ability to self-motivate and learn are essential, as you will be working on projects with differing technical requirements. You will be based in the office however there will be site work and attending meetings as required.
Degree or equivalent in electrical, control engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of electrical / PLC & SCADA systems design and commissioning across the UK and possibly internationally, ideally in a systems integration organisation.
Systems experience: Electrical, PLC (Rockwell) / SCADA) (essential), high level software experience / database design / Instrumentation (beneficial)
