Aerospace and Defence - Competitive Salary - Permanent - West Midlands

A Contracts and Commercial Coordinator is required to join a market leading Innovative Aerospace Technology Company. The Contracts and Commercial Coordinator will report to the Senior Commercial Manager. The Contracts and Commercial Coordinator will provide support to others within the Commercial Team, assisting in drafting and managing contract documentation. The Contracts and Commercial Coordinator will also support the Commercial Lead in proposal development, bid reviews and in preparing legal responses as appropriate.

Contracts and Commercial Coordinator - Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review of commercial documents such as NDA's and Terms and Conditions
  • Provide support to the Commercial Lead in customer negotiations
  • Supports the Commercial Lead in the dissemination of agreements
  • Ensuring the contract file and the contract management system is kept up to date
  • Monitors and reports on performance against contracts
  • Provides support to the drafting and agreement of contract amendments
  • Assists the Commercial Lead in the contract closedown/exit activities
  • Provides support to the Customer Services Team
  • Administration of the Commercial database and Commercial department procedures
  • Commercial team administrative duties when required

Technical Skills/Experience Required for Contracts and Commercial Coordinator

  • 'A' Level / High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - Graduate entry level or the equivalent is preferred
  • Some Commercial and Contracts Experience (approx. 12 months)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new concepts, skills and techniques
  • Ability to clearly communicate using different mediums
  • Must have Strong inter-personal skills and be self-motivated
  • Proven team working skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Able to establish effective business relationships based on mutual respect and trust
  • A "can do" approach to work and the satisfaction of customers' requirements
  • Awareness of limitations and the ability to escalate when necessary
  • Strong IT skills and experience of working with databases and procedures
