Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Our client a global leader within the manufacturer of composites technology requires a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join their corporate Compensation team. As the Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will advise HR Managers on compensation data and decisions such as salary offers for new hires or promotions. The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will develop strong relationships across the organisation. You will stay well-informed of various regulatory and compliance related issues that may have an impact on compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Pricing - Review employee salary position relative to new market date to ensure competitive and cost-effective compensation and reward structures
  • Global Grading System - Conduct job evaluations and analysis for existing and new jobs as requested to resolve compensation issues. Collaborate with global HR Manager's with the ongoing growth and development of GGS and various related projects
  • Global Salary Planning - Participate in the annual compensation planning process of merit increase, short term incentives, and long-term incentive programs for various regions.
  • Compensation Administration - Ensuring that all global compensation plan documents and related communications are disseminated and processed in a timely manner
  • Equity Plan Administration
  • Global Mobility Support
  • Liaise with corporate/ 3rd party vendors to obtain and update inventory of assignees who are provided tax preparation support

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
  • Relevant level of Compensation experience (3 to 5 years min)
  • Thorough knowledge of local country requirements
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to understand and apply research and data analysis for
  • decision making
  • Long Term Incentive knowledge desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) with a high level of
  • proficiency in Excel; Expert level Excel skills; must be able to effectively use Excel for
  • reporting and data analysis (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups, IF statements, and advanced
  • formulas)
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills
  • Knowledge of benefit programs
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • HR data management systems (Workday experience desirable)
