Title: Chassis Systems Controls Engineer
Division: Special Vehicle Operations
Contract Position based at: Gaydon
Rate: Up to £31.77 per hour
Experienced Chassis Systems Control Engineer required to support new major SVO programmes. Position will require an Engineer to hit the ground running and lead hardware & system integration of EPAS, ABS, ESP, including decoupled braking systems.
JLR Process knowledge is also essential to aid speed of work start. You must have experience of taking a complex chassis system through the technical gateway process to production and able to work in small teams and with other Functions. Excellent overall projects skills are required as well as being able to present complex technical issues and solutions to senior engineering management
- Proven Chassis Systems Control Engineer able to deliver products from initial concept right through to production, experience of FMEAS, DVP, Design development, testing knowledge: component, system and vehicle.
- Candidates must have a solid understanding of first principles in order to lead problem resolution sessions and reach compatible cross functional solutions. Able to work with and manage suppliers where required in all engineering aspects
- JLR processes
Package, RMDV, CAD. Knowledge of whole vehicle systems and architecture
Relevant Degree, or substantial relevant experience
Knowledge of JLR systems and processes (RMDV, PCDS)
