Business Office Administrator

An Business Office Administrator is required to provide support for a Coventry based luxury car manufacturing organisation. The Business Office Administrator role is a temporary assignment for just under 4 months and is paying up to £13.98 per hour for the following responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support in the entry, manipulation and reporting of data into relevant purchasing systems
  • Raising purchase orders and managing invoice queries
  • Acting as a point of contact for non-production purchasing queries
  • Co-manage generic team mailboxes as instructed
  • Booking venues for meetings by liaising with relevant stakeholders
  • Responding to and resolve customer queries in a timely manner
  • Process data in a timely and accurate fashion within relevant purchasing systems
  • Chase up requests which contain incomplete data from the requester
  • Respond to queries raised by offshore teams when directed in a timely manner
  • Completing metrics trackers and run reports on activity levels and status
  • Identifying minor process improvements and document new operating procedures as directed
  • Supporting any minute taking and logging of actions for meetings where required
  • Any other activities as directed by the Shared Services Manager


The ideal person will:

  • Be degree qualified
  • Previous experience in an purchasing role would be advantageous
  • High level of computer literacy/competence, high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as a team
