A leading global manufacturer and marketer of precision instruments for use in laboratory, industrial and food retailing applications are looking to welcome an experienced, high-level Business to their Industrial Division.
The Company has strong worldwide thought and product leadership positions and are truly an innovator to their clients and customers. In addition to a broad product offering, they have one of the largest global sales and service organisations among precision instrument companies.
The team you would be leading focus on the high value-added segments of their markets by providing innovative instruments that often integrate various technologies including application-specific solutions for customers. Designing instruments not only to gather valuable data but also to facilitate the processing and transfer of this data into customer's management information systems.
An opportunity has arisen within the business for a high level and driven leadership individual to join lead the Industrial Division based at the teams Leicester office.
The purpose of this role will be to fully collaborate within the company and its wider group of companies in pursuit of the Industrial and Company strategic goals and targets.
This role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked within a Capital Equipment or Engineering environment who is looking to progress within their career.
Skills and Experience
However, we are not looking for a "manager"! We instead are looking for a "LEADER" within to join the already existing team of excellent and passionate leaders with the business. We believe that only true leader will develop our employees into future leaders as well as strategically and profitably move this division forward while keeping customer service at the forefront of everything the team does.
The division is responsible for £6M turnover, 7 Direct Field Sales Reps with 2 Sales Managers. 4 Systems Engineers with 1 Systems Manager and 1 Product Manager. The successful candidate will be able to increase turnover and develop their entire team over time.
You will also have a seat on the Senior Leadership Team for the UK arm of the business, actively shaping how the entire organisation moves from strength to strength in the marketplace and how the units footprint is seen across the global organisation.
