Business Development Manager - ADAS Systems - Permanent - Warwickshire - £ Competitive DOE

Our client is a global provider of pioneering engineering, research and test services to the automotive, defence, aerospace and rail sectors. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to help develop and deliver the commercial opportunities of the ADAS Systems of the future.

You will be a key part of a dynamic new Product Group focusing on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), leading and maximising the commercial response to this global market opportunity.

What you will do
As Business Development Manager ADAS Systems

  • Lead the pursuit of targeted business opportunities for the testing of ADAS and Automated Driving (AD) Technologies.
  • Grow the opportunity pipeline, deliver the order intake and lead bid writing opportunities.
  • Build effective networks, both internally and externally to support and develop strategic relationships.
  • Lead project pitches to new clients.
  • Work closely with target OEMs, Tier 1s and other stakeholders. In the UK, Europe and other target territories.
  • Act as a commercial leader for existing programmes.
  • Work closely with the marketing team on effective technology marketing strategies.

What you will need
As Business Development Manager ADAS Systems;

  • A relevant engineering or science degree, or equivalent experience.
  • A proven record of developing technical proposals and a track record of winning technology related contracts.
  • A familiarity with working in the automotive sector and related supply chains.
  • A background in ADAS or automotive electronics would be highly desirable.
