Job Summary:

We are currently working for a cutting edge technology business who are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work across their warehouse logistics and factory automation business.

The role will report to the Head of Business Development and provide leadership and support to the Sales function with project design, data analysis and presentation materials.

The individual will work with colleagues from the UK and Austria (and other European Countries as dictated by each project) and develop their skills and knowledge as they progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Active in Business Development, networking and sales activity
• Development of customer requirements for automation projects
• Analysis and optimisation of logistical processes in collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Preparation of solution proposals, calculations and presentations
• Input to and Management of CRM system (C4C)
• Customer consulting

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree (or equivalent) in one of the following:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Mechanical engineering knowledge
• Competent in MS Office software
• English will be the primary language for this role however additional knowledge of German is highly desirable
• Experience of Automated Warehouse design and/or operations would be valuable
