Business Development Manager - Professional Lighting



Our client, an internationally established innovator, developer and manufacturer of professional lighting products and control systems is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in Germany.


Following further growth in of their market in Germany, the team is expanding. In this position you will have the opportunity to own your regional area, generate revenue, demonstrate negotiation skills, identify and develop new business opportunities and optimize existing customer relationships.


Your client base is composed of touring and rental companies, resellers and installers. You are at ease in demonstrating products, identify new opportunities and partners whilst reporting to the Sales Manager and respecting all sales guidelines and company policies. The role will involve regular travel including visiting customers, attending exhibitions and training events.


Ideally located in the North or Southwest of Germany, you have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the in the entertainment technology or professional lighting industry. However, consideration would be made for experienced sales professionals who have an interest in this market area.


With a successful sales track record, you need to autonomous, driven, organised and your communication and customer service are impeccable. Solid written and spoken German with comfortable English are required together with the ability for frequent travelling in the region.
