We are looking for an ambitious and experienced individual to help lead our nuclear structural engineering team, with responsibility for our growing nuclear workload. You will be an important member of our management team and will have the opportunity to become involved in a wide variety of exciting projects across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced leader, capable of managing projects through delivery to financial close, managing the financial aspects of projects, leading and mentoring teams of engineers. Experience in nuclear business development would be a significant advantage to help us achieve our exciting growth targets.
You will have responsibility for the overall delivery of your own projects, including the management of other disciplines, as well as acting as part of a team working on elements of major project commissions. It is one of our key values to provide excellence in everything that we do, so you will be mentored and trained towards this aim. Due to the nature of our work in government sectors, you will be required to hold, or achieve, a level of security clearance which the company will facilitate.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
You will be experienced in successfully running substantial multidisciplinary engineering design projects from inception to completion and will have a proven ability to produce professional and compelling tender responses and perform effectively at interview. You will have recognised management experience and will be able to collaborate with and influence other design team members and clients in the design process.
The position requires a dynamic and flexible approach balanced across all aspects of business development, project delivery, client liaison and commercial management.
