Are you a self-motivated Account Manager with knowledge of cutting tools and their application? Looking for a hybrid role with good salary and company car? Want to work for a premium manufacturing brand covering the South West? Then maybe, just maybe, this role is for you.

Things you will do:

  • Retain existing market share and capitalise on new revenue opportunities.
  • Sell cutting tool and machining solutions to a wide range of business, building relationships at all levels.
  • Work in a beautiful part of the country covering South Wales/Gloucs/Wilts/Bath/Bristol and North Somerset.
  • Achieve business and financial outcomes according to expectation for assigned customer portfolio.
  • Support Sales Management in providing accurate forecasts, budgets, data analysis and targets as required.
  • Develops strategies and determine activities focused on portfolio customer needs and pain-points.

My client, are a fast moving worldwide manufacturer and value-added provider in the field of metal cutting. They are seeking an Account Manager to provide the “ultimate customer experience”, manage retention and grow business share at business-critical core customers across the South West and South Wales. They are looking for a background in machine tooling, with a commercial apptitude/progression within your career.

Skills and competencies that will reflect positively in your application:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification (or apprenticeship)/experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or economics or a related field is desired
  • Knowledge in the field of digital technologies in metalworking (industry 4.0). knowledge of relevant software programs, e.g., CAD/CAM is desirable.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and secure customer service excellence through customers` pain points knowledge, and sell through service.
  • Be able to provide demonstrable target driven sales achievements. Practical knowledge in the effective use of Sales Tools, including, but not limited, to Productivity Improvement Programs (PIP), Value Selling, and Productivity Analyzer (PA), Dynamics (CRM System).
  • Have superb communication skills with and ability to present and negotiate commercial terms and conditions with all customer's functions.
  • Be able to create synergy, collaborate and gain commitment to execute action.
