Hardware Device Test Engineer - 39890 - £31.26/hr umbrella rate

**What You Will Do:**
- Lead a team to deliver exceptional HW and SW testing methodology and solutions, focusing on efficiency and quality.
- Design software models ranging from complex full vehicle simulation to component ResBus control, and integrate these models with automation.
- Engage in the design for data quality in measurement and operation of HV test rigs.
- Collaborate across Powertrain to understand requirements and deliver gap analysis for future vehicle programmes and technology.
- Increase functional and software test throughput using simulation solutions and automation methods.
- Ensure adherence to relevant ISO standards and contribute to the documentation and process improvement.
**What You Will Bring:**
- Experience in dSpace based HiL or Power-HiL development and testing.
- Proficiency in developing Matlab/Simulink and CAPL models/scripts.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle networks and architectures (CAN/CAN-FD / FlexRay / LIN / Ethernet).
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team in a complex engineering environment.
- An Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline and problem-solving skills, with Six Sigma, Green Belt Training and certification being advantageous.
