What You Will Do:

  • Support Powertrain programs, including re-tooled engine programs or new Powertrain led Engine, Power Unit, and Battery Programs.
  • Deliver robust, safe processes that consistently meet quality and productivity requirements through Industrial Engineering practices.
  • Conduct physical time studies, process allocation, ergonomic studies, machine cycle charts, and work standards development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly technical projects.
  • Work closely with manufacturing operations to address complex issues through facilitation and dialogue.
  • Utilise problem-solving tools and processes to quickly resolve program issues.

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong proven experience as a Productivity (Industrial) Engineer or in a similar role with Productivity Engineering responsibilities.
  • Strong familiarity with Industrial Engineering practices and the ability to deliver processes that meet strict quality and productivity standards. This includes physical time studies, process allocation, ergonomic studies, machine cycle charts and work standards.
  • Proven track record for delivering highly technical projects delivered by cross functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and identify solutions quickly.
  • Experience in Engine, Power Unit, or Battery Manufacturing is desirable.
  • GSPAS and MODAPTs trained
  • An Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Productivity Degree or equivalent to a 2:1 standard is highly desirable.

Location:

Dunton, Basildon, offering a flexible working arrangement with hybrid working. Up to 5 days per week on site could be required depending on collaboration requirements. Some occasional travel to Europe may also be required.
