What You Will Do:
- Manage data entry and oversee the business ERP system for optimal production planning.
- Create and collate manufacturing works orders and schedules for the metal shop processes.
- Plan and request raw materials in alignment with production schedules, ensuring resource optimisation.
- Monitor progress against schedules in collaboration with Metal Shop supervision, adjusting as necessary.
- Ensure product traceability through correct use of the works order system, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Maintain stock control of raw materials, reporting any shortages or issues promptly.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- A background in planning, scheduling, or an administrative role within manufacturing.
- Strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
