Join a Leading Manufacturing Team as a Materials Controller

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a basic salary of £27,500 per annum as well as a range of benefits, including a canteen, free and on-site parking, life insurance, and private medical insurance, all within a Monday to Friday schedule.

What You Will Do:

• Release Purchase Orders and expedite component orders, ensuring alignment with the MRP schedule to support assembly and after-sales.
• Raise manually generated orders for components outside of MRP control.
• Monitor delivery performance of selected vendors and implement improvements in delivery adherence.
• Attend supplier and department meetings to discuss and agree on targets and actions.
• Identify and timely report any risks to the continuity of component supply.
• Support other departmental and organisational areas to achieve company objectives.

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A to C, including English Language and Maths.
• Demonstrable purchasing experience and understanding of MRP.
• Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and support improvement activities within the department.
• A motivated and enthusiastic approach to work, with a commitment to achieving departmental objectives.
