Electrician

The Electrician will install and maintain electrical systems and components in industrial settings, including wiring, conduit, and electrical panels. You will also perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

During your first few weeks in this Electrical Engineer role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial equipment and machinery
• Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repair of electrical systems
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety codes, regulations, and standards
• Follow and promote safety protocols to create a safe working environment
• Identify and address potential safety hazards related to electrical systems

The successful Electrician applicant will have a Level 3 Electrical qualification/completion of an apprenticeship program in the Electrical industry. Additional qualifications include:

• Proven experience as an electrician
• Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail, precision in work, and effective communication and collaboration skills
