Do you have Customer Service experience, and are you looking for a new opportunity in Leicestershire? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Material Planning Customer Support Analyst, and the role comes with an umbrella contract rate of £18.40/hr (inside IR35).

The Material Planner Customer Support Analyst will deliver and enhance customer satisfaction by assisting customers with orders/queries and the timely receipt of products while also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base. You will strive to achieve maximum customer service, minimum inventory investment, and efficient material flow to increase availability and provide assurance of supply for our customers. You will join a diverse, supportive team of people who support each other to achieve the best results. There is also an opportunity to be a part of analytical work.

To give you an idea of how this Customer Support Analyst role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

  • Act as the initial interface with the Customer, ensuring relationships are developed and queries resolved with pace
  • Manage customer orders
  • Establish priority of material needs, expedites and de-expedites as required
  • Collaborate with customers via phone/email/Teams and online tools
  • Identify and resolve future risks for customers' production

The successful Material Planner will be able to thrive under pressure in a busy work environment with high expectations. You must also have:

  • Customer support analyst background
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work and deliver information to multiple groups.
  • Collaborates and connects with others well
  • Organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills
  • Analytical problem solver and root cause analysis skills
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable
